NBA substitute?

The league decided not to have a single game yesterday. I don't remember if they did the same last year on the day of the NCAA finals, but I guess all of NBA Land's inhabitants were watching the Duke and Arizona battle.

It's not like David Stern is fond of College ball, but it's rather that as big as the NBA is, a regular season NBA game can't compete with the NCAA finals for audience and profit. Guess it's really about the benjamins after all.

I don't follow the school boys as much as I follow the million dollar players, but since that was the only hoops on, well let's say I don't like being left out of conversations.

I was rooting for Arizona. After all Duke dealt Maryland a crushing blow coming back from 22 down, and I happen to be from Maryland, have friends who go there, who traveled the 200 miles or so from MD to MN to see the game, just so Duke can embarrass our team in the Final Four.

Duke had the clout in this one, and Mike Dunleavy's son had a mean stroke from 3-point kingdom in the second half. 'Zona was out of it from the start. We will be avenged.

Shane Battier Karl Malone's elbows want to know if you have a good dental plan.

Jason Williams says there can only be one PG Jason Williams. He begs you to take into account his backups of Webber (at least for now) Peja, Pollard and Divac, and consider that several players have reported thefts from a certain #13 - his partner in crime - before you decide to drive that lane Jason Williams.

Mike Dunleavy Jr, Kobe is asking what else is in that offensive arsenal besides spot up 3's?

How can Mike Dunleavy coach Rasheed Wallace if he's on Duke's side when his star player is a Tar Heel?

Curry's honey lottery

Chicago Prep Star Eddy Curry has also declared for the NBA draft, along with Tyson Chandler from California who did it earlier.

Curry had said he would only do it if he knew he would be a lottery pick.

Curry if you're not a high pick you'll be glad to know that Rashard Lewis, wasn't top 29(first round). He did cry a river, but see how he turned out?

Griffin's gripping on NBA

Yup Seton Hall's Eddie Griffin has declared himself too. The first year player says he's confident he will exel at the next level.

I was hooked on the Seton Hall bandwagon after reading all those stories about them in the papers. But nope it was a all a big bust. Let's see if Eddie is a bust or boom himself.
