<< Back Next >> -------------------- April 06, 2001 5 star decision Word out of Manhattan is that Knicks coach Jeff Van Gundy is considering a starting line-up change. Coach has noticed that his players are not as consistant as they should be. Against the Wizards last night Mark Jackson and Larry Johnson had called it a night by the beginning of the fourth quarter - well, Jeff made the call for them. Lattrell Spreewell joined them for the last 8 minutes of the period. Whatever line up changes happen, all I say is make sure Spree is in the mix. The only reason you all were an eighth seed in 1999 is because he was coming off the bench. Hope you do remember what happened in the playoffs that year when he was starting - other teams looking at their eighth seeding might have played them softly when in fact they were a possible 2nd or 3rd seed with Spree starting. Jeff, Hope you get to read this note. Without Spree the team might be a joke. And remember don't drink too much Coke. << Back Next >> Back to archive Back to top
