Facing the Green eyed monster

Looking through that heavy money bag sent to him when he signed his $100 million dollar deal, Shawn Kemp saw plenty of green dollar bills, but it was only about time that he got deep enough in the bag to come accross the "Green eyed Monster".

The monster every jealous person faces when self-interest is all that matters, the monster faced when one fails to realize the privilege of their position.

Sadly enough it has crossed paths with The Reign Man, and he has to deal with it.

From the Seattle Times: "If only he could have those five seasons over again. Now he knew the money he made in Cleveland didn't make him happy. He got his $100 million there, but he lost his game and his drive and his confidence.

If he could do it over again, he could accept the Sonics' signings of mediocre center Jim McIlvaine and the re-signing of Payton, because they weren't an insult to him. They were business decisions.

He wouldn't pout. He wouldn't be late for so many practices and planes and games. He would continue to play at the highest level in the game and wait for room to open under the salary cap. He would stay in Seattle.

If only he could turn back the clock."

Site of rebirth?

Don't look now, but it seems like HoopsTV.com is back on the scene.

Hope they do get to read my smack (March 12th) about them.
