<< Back Next >> -------------------- April 18, 2001 Dream come true HoopsTV.com would have been proud. They're not here to enjoy it, but their favorite player started last night for the Milwaukee Bucks. Rafer "Skip to my Lou" Alston started last night and played 31 minutes. Skip exploded for 6 tasty dishes, 6 mean rebounds, and recorded a monster 4 points. Well he had his chance. And yes he's a pass first guy, but I if I were George Karl I would stick with Sam the Man, or Sam I Am - whatever people make up to call him. No basket Stacking Jerry Stackhouse A.K.A The Regulator, was regulated last night by Toronto's clean mean defensive scheme. Man, that scoring title is getting out of reach. There goes another loss to Iverson, unless he's willing to try and break Wilt's record. Stackhouse went 7 for 25 with 22 points. He did have 7 assists though, but Iverson claims it all, the All-Star, the Scoring, the league MVP, the . . . I will have to make the Sixers the favorites in my playoff previews just to make this list look good. Not to mention that A.I is also the answer to the steals champion's name, and that Aaron Mckie might win 6th man of the year, Mutombo the rebounding crown and maybe the Defensive player - sorry Theo - and Larry Brown the coach of the year. Even Michael Jordan has to admit it; not anybody has. . . correction nobody can cross me up the way Iverson did. The last Dream For those of you still clueless, I'm one mean Houston Rockets fan, and of the Dream in particular. Hakeem's last game was very emotional. This was no Patrick and New York break up, no Jordan and Chicago love gone sour. This was heartfelt. Whether he resigns with them, changes team, or retires, this love will be there. Plenty of people will still dream of the good times. << Back Next >> Back to archive Back to top
