<< Back Next >> -------------------- April 26, 2001 Going out in style No it's not somebody else retiring. It's Tracy McGrady who's letting everyone know that, his team might be beaten but individually he reigns supreme. 20 straight point at one point of the game? That's Jordanesque scoring. That doesn't break a record though. Jordan once scored 23 straight point and it still stands. Also, in game 4 of the 97 Eastern Conference finals which the bulls lost Jordan scored 20 straight points to close a deficit of more than 20 points. The thing there is that it was a 20-0 run. None of the other 9 players scored during that time. In the end the Bulls ran out of time. It's clear T-Mac dominating isn't helping, how about a different approach Doc? Cousin Carter might wish his playoff performance was as good as McGrady's. No worry Prince Vince, it's because Milwaukee is still trying to spell D-E-F-E-N-S-E. Mac-Attack is flaming to a quick burn out. You have more chances of going ahead than him. Sactown's sackings Sacramento threw everyone of the Phoenix roster off their games, none of them shot particularly well. Jason Williams and Bobby Jackson combined forces in order to make Jason Kidd turn back to Jason of old; or 'Ason' as some say. Kidd shot 2 for 12, but was still a triple double threat, with 9 assists, 7 snatches, and 7 points. << Back Next >> Back to archive |
