Doctors have found a blod clot in Houston Rockets center Hakeem Olajuwon's calf. Doctors put him on blood thinners. When I first got interested in basketball it was in 1994. And back then Dream was the Hardwood Ruler. Watching him, I was like I've now found my favorite sport. His duel in the finals against Shaq and Ewing were very memorable. I still remember those games as if it was yesterday. It's sad to see him go out this way, but like he once said, at least all the health problems are happening to him at the end of his career, and not when he was trying to win championships. Somehow it seems all of the Houston Rockets' recent great players don't get to enjoy their retirement campaign. Except for Drexler, Ralph Sampson and Charles Barkley were forcefully removed from the court by their injuries. << Back Next >> Back to archive |
