Celebrate success

The mavs have just been guaranteed of their first winning season in about 9 years, since they've won 42 games already.

Break out the champaigne, the ice cubes, the 'Cuban' cigars and 'Mark' Don Nelson for exec of the year.

They should celebrate while they can, because in the playoffs only one finishes with a victory. Don't think it will be them.

Welcome to Kobe's Ball

Last night in Detroit, Jerry Stackhouse went crazy, scoring 46 points. Kobe Bryant's trigger finger didn't itch that much early on, but in the last quarter and overtime it was as if he had to appease the itch or die (loose). He didn't choose the latter.

He scored 24 in the last quarter and overtime, to make sure his Lakers won, and totalling 39 for the game. The Daddy was left watching as Kobe worked his magic.

Enjoyed the show tonight Sir Diesel?

Don't you recognize me?

Raptors PG Chris Childs was booed by the Madison Square Garden fans. Chris was wondering what he did to deserve that, and had no clue.

Is he for real?

When the Raptors beat the Knicks, Chris was the one who brought one the child in him by taunting the Knicks bench. More media than any other city and you think these Knickerbocker faithfuls haven't heard. They were prepared for you.

Vince, Patrick Ewing played 15 seasons there and when they met he didn't do such. Childs underachieved in NYC and you say he played his heart out, and wonder why they diss him?

The Raptors went inxtinct for the night 88-72.
