Richard Hamilton and Courtney Alexander lead Washington to a victory over the Warriors last night. Courtney came off the bench, and gunned down the Golden State Warriors' defense for 26 points and looted its offense for 6 steals. Richard Hamilton offset the Warriors' attack with 28 points and recycled 6 of their missed spears. Final score 99-94. With Mitch Richmond on the injured list and the young students finally learning to work their mystical powers, he will surely be gone by next season, bought out like Strickland and Howard. It really is not fair that after all the turmoil Juwan Howard and Rod Strickland brought to the team they're the ones who get rewarded by being sent to winning teams while Richmond is the one who stays behind to accumulate the looses. But he gets paid handsomely and like the old saying goes...it's business. Mashburned!!! The Charlotte Hornets' Jamal Mashburn heated up like a wild fire, to drive the Toronto Raptors extinct in the Coliseum. Mashburn mashed rookie forward Morris Peterson's defense for 16 third quarter points. Mashman was Money on jumpers and layups, en route to 27 points. He was also a magnet for the rock, recording 9 rebounds, and contributed to his teammates' cause with 5 dimes. David Wesley scored 26 points and was generous for 7 dimes.
