<< Back Next >> -------------------- December 05, 2001 Rare Ray Ray Allen Il is backZydrunas Ilgauskas Let's point out the winner Stephon Marbury and Jason Kidd Rare Ray In all honesty we've never seen Ray Allen become a brick layer in a game. So slick, so smooth, so admired, so hapless? You'd like to hear it was only one bad game for Ray Allen, but the team has lost four in a row. It was only about time he misplaces his stroke. Last night against New York, the Ray gun shot from long range 14 times and was only on target once. Except for the Big Dog who had more bark than bite, the whole team followed in Ray's footsteps. Thomas 4-11, Mason 3-8, Cassell 4-16, Redd 1-7. New York on the Other hand Had Spree (28pts), Houston (22pts), Camby (13rbs), and Jackson (14asts) filling their respective duties. New York moves above .500 with a 10-9 mark. Il is back Zydrunas Ilgauskas is back. For the cavaliers it's good news, since they've almost always had a good record with him in the lineup. His little foot problem is not only a problem to him, but an illness to the whole organization. He goes down, they nose dive. On his comeback they beat the #1 team in the Central Division and it was Dre's day. Andre Miller went D Day on the Pistons with 34 points, 8 snatches, and 11 feeds. Motown's top Piston ran out of gas in the second half. Stackhouse scored as many points in the second half as the number of wins his team recorded yesterday. Chris Mihm was good at center with 10 points, 12 rebounds and 3 rejects. But Coach Lucas admit it. You want Big Z back at the pivot, you're drooling over the idea. You just want him to beg first don't you? Let's 'Point' out the winner Stephon Marbury was considering being traded to a winning team. He got his wish but he now clearly knows the person with all the strings can will a team to a win. He's it. Jason Kidd though never asked to be traded. But he's finding the Meadowlands as warm as Phoenix. Today they meet. Maybe the biggest matchup so far this season. Stephon will look good. Kidd's teammates will shine like they haven't yet, just to greet to man who could never embellish them well enough. << Back Next >> Back to archive Back to top
