Steve Francis is named the Franchise and he's out, but we really don't need to see how valuale he is to the team. Yet Houston's squad couldn't do a better of proving us that fact. Since Wink went down the team has lost about 8 or so games in a row. Never mind the fact that they were in the top ten in weekly rankings everywhere before he took up the crutches. Against the Blazers 5 Rockets had at least 10 points. It wasn't enough. Eddie Griffin the Seton Hall player who left after his first year was in the starting lineup. I was rooting for him to go # 1 in the draft. Mr G was lit up on defence, but he managed 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block in 30 mnutes. Portland doesn't look like a big time team any longer. Maybe it's because Rasheed doesn't get them technicals no more. 4 portland players ended up in double digits, including Ruben (The Kobe Stopper) Patterson, with 23 and 11, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks. << Back Next >> Back to archive |
