Rocket blast

These Rockets are getting blazed. Last night it was indeed the Blazers themselves who delivered the latest blow.

Steve Francis is named the Franchise and he's out, but we really don't need to see how valuale he is to the team. Yet Houston's squad couldn't do a better of proving us that fact.

Since Wink went down the team has lost about 8 or so games in a row. Never mind the fact that they were in the top ten in weekly rankings everywhere before he took up the crutches.

Against the Blazers 5 Rockets had at least 10 points. It wasn't enough. Eddie Griffin the Seton Hall player who left after his first year was in the starting lineup. I was rooting for him to go # 1 in the draft. Mr G was lit up on defence, but he managed 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 block in 30 mnutes.

Portland doesn't look like a big time team any longer. Maybe it's because Rasheed doesn't get them technicals no more.

4 portland players ended up in double digits, including Ruben (The Kobe Stopper) Patterson, with 23 and 11, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks.
