The holidays' article has just been completed and anything or anyone worthy, that's been omitted, will probably be on the New Year's resolution.

Without further ado, behold Hoopscorner's holiday wishes

Memphis ain't bleak

I was wondering if the Lakers had any respect for anybody. After all, they never showed it. We know what they think of giants such as the Spurs, and Kings. Much less...the Grizzlies? Jason Williams?!?

That cat of a point guard, who never heard of a chest pass? No one ever said he didn't have a lick of offense in his arsenal though.

This is the second Juggernaut he helped bring down. This time I hear 10 points in 80 seconds.

Times like this would make Nick Anderson say "Ahh that's my student".

Amid all the Jason Williams talk we can't forget that Brevin Knight had 20 points in 17 minutes off the pine, and only missed once. In total 6 players scored in double digits for Memphis.

D.C 13

Last year the Wizards won a total of 19 games. This season they're already at 13 wins with 12 losses, and would be at # 7 in the playoffs if it began today. They've clubered 8 teams in a row.

The Magic didn't have McGrady or Hill. Another point of disenchantment for Orlando is that, Mike Miller too had to leave the game. Skinny colided knees with Rip and Popeye Jones game him a demonstration of a big man's work with a flagrant. Richard Hamilton was done just after 8 minutes in the game.

Jordan was off (3-16), Miller was sorely missed by the Magic. He had 14 before leaving.

If you look the Wizards' site on ESPN.com, they say the Wizards may have lost the person most responsible for the winning streak in Hamilton. Are they for real?!? He's been on a tear lately but, check the games, check the remark, and the court presence. Besides, admit it you penciled the Wizards' performance to mirror last year's.

Last time Rip was left to run his way it seemed as if he wanted to catch A.I for the scoring race, yet there was no winning streak.
