Houston, we're on target

Well at least in last night's game, Allan Houston was well on target. Maurice Peterson got the assignment of guarding Houston, who finished with 34 points.

The Knicks started hot early on, with Houston and Sprewell scoring 10 and 13 in the first quarter. The team cooled down after, but stayed warm enough to finish it off.

Carter was promissing a surprise on Christmas. Going 6 for 20 on Christmas Day is a surprise alright...just not the surprise we expected.

Heartbreakers

Philadelphia, the team that inspired basketball fans everywhere, to just be the best they can be.

This season though they're not trying their best at all. In all matters their undisputed floor leader has to be concerned.

Iverson started off hot, but it's almost a given to guess that you'll see him at both extremes of a thermometer before a game is over.

When #3 did venture to a temperature of 3, in the second half, the Lakers had a feist. Medvedenko began a Lakers Rally with 8 points in the third quarter.

Kobe nursing his rib injury the whole game almost had a triple double. If only for one more assist. But he did give an expert's performance on how to play efficiently. One of his jumpers brought the Lakers within one point of the Sixers and after that one the next one was the icing.

Lakers 88 Sixers 82, although it was all along Philly's game to take.
