Yesterday it was Western conference players, today we listed the nicknames of Eastern conference players. Welcome to Chi-town It's not the situation anyone would desire. However, in a loosing team a top notch player can substitute winning with a beefed up stat line. On his first day as a Chicago Bull last night, Jalen Rose got the best of both worlds. 36 points, 6 assists and a win against the Knicks. The coud was cheering and Jalen proudly bloomed. 113-109 Bulls Nice games by Houston (34 points 6 assists 5 rebounds), Sprewell (0 points 5 assists 5 rebounds )and Mark Jackson (with a triple double 15points 13 assists, 10 rebounds) got used for land-filling purposes. In the end confettis were pouring from the United Center rafters . Bill Cartwright too did begin as head coach with a string of wins.
