That's 38 points, and if rounded 40 points missing from your offense. No wonder they lost to the Magic in Orlando 100 to 86 last night. McGrady though only had 9 points out of the 100. He wasn't injured either. Yes that would record a blip on any radar. Sure it was a blowout Doc Rivers, but coach you've got to make sure T-Mac gets his. O.K it's not all your fault. After all you did give Tracy 29 minutes of run. Kobe could make that 35 pts on any day. Well we understand you are the man, but Mr McGrady you've got to get yours no matter what. 4 for 7 and 9 points? 8 assists and 9 rebounds is almost a triple double, good. Yet, Nobody will really come out and say it but the numbers get you all spoils and respect. Stay conscious of that. Rudy's Eddie Rockets coach Rudy Tomjanovich is now giving plenty of floor time to our favorite rookie. Including last night's loss to the Mavericks (113-107), Eddie Griffin has now scored in double figures in his last 5 games. This is the player we would've made the number one pick in the draft, and the pre-season pick for rookie of the year. In Houston against Dallas last night he scored 19 points in 40 minutes and 3 blocks. The bulk isn't there yet as you can tell by his 3 rebounds, but time and hard work can bring that. What he already has though, can't be taught or simply acquired: superior athletic talent. Combined with his fast learning, we judge him the best first year talent. No disrespect Kwame Brown. It's that we can't give you more recognition until we've seen enough of that vertical. Now that he should have some experience starting it has to said that the next game against memphis (February 12, 2002) might be heated.
