First round farewell

Today is truly the last day of all the first round series. On the Spurs-Sonics series tied at 2-2 the only reason this series is going the whole length is to show Tony Parker that the reason he looked like a star a while ago (April 28) was because of Tim Duncan's might.

While TD was out of the lineup because of the death of his father Gary Payton made his opportunities count. GP had a triple double with 28 points, 11 assists, and 12 rebounds, and the whole Sonics teams showed the Spurs how much Tim Duncan means to them.

Tony Parker finished 6-18 , 14 points and 2 assists. Game 5 is tonight in San Antonio at 9:30 ET. Spurs by less than 10.

The other battle (Celtics_Sixers) should've been decided earlier too - if Paul Perce had gotten the ball when it mattered that is. Now that mistake might prove to be the Celtics demise.

Mutombo will be matching up against the one who dusted him for the defensive player of the year crown.
