Read the latest feature article Ode to Baron praising the Charlotte Hornets floor general.

From Motown to Beantown

Despite Jerry Stackhouse being the game's high scorer with 25 points, making 7 of 9 free-throws, and pulling down 7 rebounds, the Detroit Pistons still lost game 2 to the Celtics. Oh yeah homecourt too was gone. To Boston we go.

The bad news is Stackhouse took 22 shots and only made 7 of them. For the Celtics, besides the regular combo of Antoine Walker and paul Pierce (15 and 20 respectively) lighting it up, Eric williams and Kenny Anderson had their own battles going.

Kenny Anderson was having a schooling duel with the Pistons' Chucky Atkins to see who could teach the most to the other. Sorry Chucky, Kenny has seen more and has more to show you. 11 points, 5 assists, 7 rebounds for Kenny; 5 points 4 assists, and 1 rebound in 18 foul-ravaged minutes for Chucky.

On the forwards tip, Ben Wallace had 16 rebounds to Eric's 8, but Williams still disected him on offense with 18 points. He didn't just score to score either, he had clutch put-backs.

Ben Wallace isn't called Big Body for no reason, he's big. Many times he pulled down offensive rebounds he could've stuffed in but opted for lay-ups. Ben you don't have the Midas touch in scoring. I beg you ask Shaq how he deals with such a predicament.

Jerry Stackhouse changing his game allowed the Pistons to get this far, but for them to move on they need to find the Stackhouse of last year. Yes the one who stacked baskets even against triple teams. Well O.K only some parts of him.

Ode to Baron

Charlotte Hornets' point guard Baron Davis wasn't the most steady player on the team, but we'd still rate him as the team's pulse.

The Nets-Hornets series shifts to Charlotte tonight with New Jersey leading 2 zip. The team is bound to move after the season, so before it's too late, we've made an Ode to Baron for his dedicated work in Charlotte.
