Picture Mark

Today while flipping stations we stumbled upon an episode of "Walker Texas Ranger". The big deal with it is it had a special guest. It was none other than Mark Cuban, the Dallas Mavericks owner.

During the episode we noticed that Cuban only made brief appearances on the scenes he was on. Which leads us to conclude that Cube can't buy himself acting skills. Other reasons just don't make the cut. From his NBA rep, you know he's not the shy type.

In this episode he was loaning out his house to Chuck Norris (who plays Walker in the series) for his wedding. When Cuban first moved there we read that players were getting tours of the house. Until came Scottie Pippen. While as a Blazer in the 99-00 season, Pippen had said that Mavs guard Michael Finley didn't deserve to be in the All-Star game which he was selected to by coaches that year. So when he showed up to be beamed into Cuban's mansion he got denied.

Attic Atlantic

While all of the league's Divisions have at least one team with only one loss as of today, the Atlantic Division's best teams have a mediocre .500 record, which Boston and Washington both share at 3-3.

While the Eastern Conference champion has come out of the Atlantic 4 of the last 5 years, so far it seems the Atlantic wave has vanished. Philadelphia looks like the departure of Larry Brown is really affecting it, Boston seems to still be adjusting to Vin Baker's new role, and New Jersey is just out of sync. Maybe those stories of Jason Kidd and Byron Scott feuding are more than barbershop talk.
