HoopsCorner's holiday wishes

As the Holidays are furiously dawning upon the hoops landscape, it's only fitting that we all join in on the preparations.

It's the first time HoopsCorner will get to celebrate these holidays and I wanted to do something good and memorable. After a bit of thought it's been a relief to find out that it would do a world of goodness to just wish everyone a happy holidays.

From the HoopsCorner staff, Happy Holidays to:

=-The readers of HoopsCorner, the feedback is good. The site is still here only because somebody actually reads this.

=-The NBA as a league and an organization. I'm unsure if I'd give up all the time wasted watching games, and digging through NBA stories everywhere, if given a second chance.

=-All basketball site publishers, personal sites not corporate ones.

=-More specifically the folks from NBAShootout (the Olajuwon article is a classic).

=-The tag team of Oxposh and C-Dub down in the NBAUnderground. The columns are cleverly humorous. Humm...whatever happened since you all encountered Mad Dog?

=-Shoutout goes out to Likai and crew from cLiK. Still checking up for updates though. I'd redesign your site as a Holiday gift.

=-Grant Hill, hoping the Holidays' jolly feeling does good to his bum ankle.

=-Pat Riley. Whatever city the championship memorabilia trunk is in (L.A, NYC or other) he can finally go spend some heartwarming time there.

=-Everyone who has ever made a suggestion for HoopsCorner. Special thanks out to Ron Bhuyan for a special technical contribution.

=-Kobe. For all to realize that the battle between him and all other, Princes wanna be Kings, is nonexistant for now. Simply the best on the planet in all aspects of the game.

=-Jerry Stackhouse. May the season brings enlightenment to the fans so he gets the recognition he deserves. And may he use the 2002 playoffs to make his name and fame.

=-All the teams who went from the bottom of the standings to the top, as a result of a roster change or the new rules: Celtics, Nets, Timberwolves, Pistons, Clippers, and Wizards.

=-The commish, may he realize a one-on-one contest would do wonders for the all-star festivities.

=-Tim Duncan may he enjoy his time as a Spur, because there's no guarantee any other place, say Orlando, will yield the same oppotunities.

=-Mark Cuban. That he takes time out in the season to ponder. Unless his team reaches some type of 'Finals' in the playoffs all his sideshows will be just that; sideshows and antics.

=-The Blazers and Sixers. Here's hoping they get their winning juices back.

=-The all-time 2nd leading scorer. We hope Malone won't pity himself years from now if he chooses to remain with the Jazz while in their dire predicament

=-Jeff Van Gundy. Enjoy your time worry free, my man.

=-Byron Scott. Wishing for him to get more credit for the Nets' success. Seems like all the bells are tolling for Jason Kidd, and rightfully too. But a coach does inspire confidence in a player.
