Events hosted: Cleveland Cavaliers basketball, Cleveland Barons hockey (AHL), concerts and shows.

Naming rights: Formerly known as Gund Arena in reference to Gordon Gund the Cavaliers previous majority owner. The arena's name has changed to Quicken Loans arena in reference to current owner Dan Dilbert's other company. The real estate mortgage mogul also owns Quicken Loans of Michigan.

Championships: None.

Previous venues: Elysium 1907, Cleveland Arena 1938, Coliseum 1974.

Comments: The Quicken Loans arena returns indoor entertainment and sports to downtown Cleveland. Before 1994 indoor events and sports were held at the Cloliseum in Richfield, Ohio. The arrival of high school star basketball star Lebron James in 2003 created a renewed interest in basketball and helped boost arena attendance.
